An energy strategy that can keep developing

An energy contract can change while the equipment stays in place. SmartgridOne gives you configurable tariffs and supported market connections, so you can review the energy strategy with your customer instead of treating commissioning as a one-time decision.

Start with the customer's contract

Configure import and export separately. A wholesale price is only one ingredient: the customer's agreement may also include supplier charges, network costs, duties and VAT. Use the appropriate contract form or time-dependent rules, then check the resulting prices against the current tariff sheet. When the supplier or tariff changes, review the configuration against the new contract details before relying on the revised plan.

Choose a suitable market connection

Price-based local planning and an external provider's commands serve different purposes. Check which integration supports the country and devices in your project, and agree the service with the relevant provider. Active external signals take priority over the default local control modes. Explain that relationship at handover and verify the intended fallback, so the customer understands which strategy is in charge.

Keep the installation current

Controller updates can add integrations, improve control and address security issues. Review the available release and update settings as part of your service process. After a contract, device or service change, check the configuration and observe the installation again. This gives you a practical maintenance conversation: what has changed, which settings reflect it, and what the customer wants the installation to achieve.

In practice

When the customer changes supplier

A household moves from a fixed tariff to a dynamic contract. Keep the supported equipment, configure the new import and export formulas, and compare several price periods with the tariff sheet. Review EV targets and power limits before activating the revised plan. If a provider also offers external control, assess that service separately and explain its priority over local planning.

Before commissioning

Before you activate

  • Confirm country, currency and current tariff sheet.
  • Check the provider integration and commercial agreement.
  • Validate signal priority and fallback behaviour.
  • Review software updates and configuration after changes.
