Make the installation understandable in one app

The app connects your technical installation to the customer's everyday experience. Use the real SmartgridOne screens to show where energy goes, how connected devices behave and what the plan expects. Niri adds an accessible place for questions and explanations after handover.

Show the home as a complete system

Start with the overview, then open a connected device together. Follow solar, battery and grid flows before discussing the vehicle or heating. This gives the customer a way to read the installation instead of interpreting separate manufacturer apps. Available categories and measurements depend on the connected equipment. Start with the categories connected to that installation and use them to guide the first app session.

Use analysis to discuss what happened

Move from the current overview to analysis and device history when reviewing a day. Show the selected period and units, and distinguish a measured result from a future plan. Detail graphs use quarter-hour values, so their latest point can differ from the current reading. Planning brings together anticipated grid use and the prices used by the controller; use that combination to discuss tomorrow’s energy use with the customer.

Continue the explanation with Niri and your brand

Niri is the customer's in-app energy assistant for questions about the installation, energy information and settings. Let customers return to those explanations after handover and keep agreed configuration changes within your service workflow. You can also discuss a white-label app under your own brand. That involves a separate setup of developer accounts and store publication. Review access permissions and the support route so the customer knows who to contact.

In practice

A handover the customer can follow

Open the overview with the customer and select the battery. Explain the current status, then use a historical graph to discuss an earlier period. Compare that with planning rather than presenting the forecast as a measured result. Show where Niri can answer an explanatory question and agree who handles configuration changes. The customer leaves with a familiar route through the app.

Before commissioning

Include in the customer handover

  • Confirm access to the correct installation.
  • Demonstrate overview, device details and analysis.
  • Explain Niri and the route for technical support.
  • Discuss separate white-label setup if relevant.
