New in the SmartgridOne App
New price configurator
Energy contracts can be complicated, with multiple formulas, time-dependent rates, and additional costs. To make configuration much easier, the app now includes a new price configurator, accessible via the controller settings page.
For any controller with a firmware version released after April 1st 2026, this configurator offers several contract wizards. Users can configure a contract simply by selecting their energy provider, contract type, and the date on which the contract started.
For more advanced cases, the configurator also includes an advanced mode with a user-friendly drag-and-drop formula builder. This allows modelling contracts where the price depends not only on market prices, but also on the time of day and day of the week.
Flexible contract configuration wizards
The available configurator wizards depend on both the controller country and the configured currency. The following options are currently available:
Fixed / variable (available for any country/currency): configure a contract with fixed consumption and feed-in prices.
Advanced dynamic (available for any country/currency): build dynamic formulas using a base rule and extra time-dependent rules.
Dynamic-BE (Belgium, EUR): select a private or business contract by specifying the contract name and closing date.
Flex-BE (Belgium, EUR): configure flex contracts with prices depending on time of day and the monthly average EPEX spot price.
Dynamic-NL (Netherlands, EUR): configure a dynamic Dutch contract by selecting an energy supplier.
When configuring advanced rules, a day-ahead data source can be linked to use market prices such as EPEX Spot directly in the pricing formula.
Other countries will soon follow with this new configurator.
