Driven, social, and always 200% present — that is how he describes himself. After studying programming, he joined Eniris as an intern. One internship turned into a permanent job, and that is no coincidence.“I got opportunities here that you do not get everywhere as a starter. Even during my internship, I was given responsibility and trust.”
Today, he is one of the people who helps keep everything running smoothly. His day starts with checking emails, setting priorities, and switching gears where needed. No two days are the same, and that is exactly what makes it interesting. “When I see the flow improving and the pressure on the team going down, I know: this is why I enjoy doing this work.”
The freedom and responsibility he was given have shaped him professionally. “I learned to escalate when needed, to set priorities, and not to try to solve everything myself. My sense of responsibility has grown enormously here.”
He can really see his impact in the company too. “It is great to notice that what you do has an effect. That the company is growing, and that you are a small part of that.”
Hendrik describes the atmosphere at Eniris as familiar and good-humoured. “Everything can be discussed. Everyone helps each other, without hierarchy or big egos. Sometimes you just walk over to someone’s desk to ask something — that works so much better than sending messages.”
The team also sticks together outside of work.Christmas markets, going out for food, meeting up spontaneously… “The difference between at work and outside of work is small here. And that is a good thing.”
What does he enjoy most? The freedom to improve things. “Your suggestions are really heard. If you are driven and want to grow with the company, you get all the room you need here.”
It can be challenging too. “Keeping the overview when things get busy, shifting priorities… but that is what makes it interesting.”
Outside Eniris, you will find him on the tennis court or out with friends. He brings that energy with him to the office.“I move around the office a lot,” he laughs. “From team to team. The whole office is my workplace.”
He wants to keep growing in overview and direction. “I want to become even stronger at seeing the bigger picture and bringing the team along in it.”
