Back to all testemonies

“Every day is challenging, but that is exactly why I feel at home here.”

Meet Maxim

Family, friends and social contact are central to him. He is someone who lives life with full enthusiasm, consciously maximises his happiness and does not let himself get rushed by things that do not really matter. Music plays a big role in his life — in his free time, he works as a DJ — and he brings that creative energy into his job as well.

From student worker to Software Engineer in the Innovation Team

His story at Eniris began as a student worker, without any previous work experience. That made the step exciting, but his first impression was immediately positive: a young team in a young company with an open atmosphere.

“I honestly couldn’t have imagined it any better.”

The first month was intense — at that time, there was no fully developed onboarding process yet — but he quickly found his footing. Today, he works as a Software Engineer in the Innovation Team. His days are varied: optimising controller control logic, analysing error messages, picking up tickets, helping colleagues and being able to ask questions himself. And every lunchtime? Ping-pong.

“I’ve already become much better since I started here,” he laughs.

Proud of impact and growth

The project he is most proud of is the controller simulation.

“That didn’t exist before. It used to take an enormous amount of time to test solutions, and there was a strong demand for additional features. When it was finished, the co-founders were genuinely enthusiastic — that felt good.”

Professionally, he has grown enormously: learning to work with a large codebase, taking ownership, reporting, processing feedback, working with colleagues and managing expectations.

“I’ve learned to be proud of my work. I felt that much less during my studies.”

A team where you can be yourself

He describes the atmosphere as friendly, warm and conscientious.

“You can ask anyone anything, and everyone helps. The structure is flat, and you can really feel that.”

The ping-pong table is a fixed part of the culture, with tournaments where colleagues stand silently around the table, watching the match being played.

“Moments like that show how fun it is here.”

What does he value most about his colleagues?

“The openness. Everyone does their best to be friendly, even on a difficult day.”

The job in reality

What is challenging?

“Everything,” he says without hesitation.

“But that is exactly why I enjoy it. I could not do a job that was not challenging.”

There are few misconceptions about his role. He does emphasise, however, that soft skills are at least as important as technical knowledge.

“Someone with limited experience can definitely start here, as long as the basics and communication are strong.”

Future & ambitions

He wants to continue growing in knowledge, autonomy and self-confidence.

“I want to keep proving myself and become even stronger at what I do.”
