Job description:
Our backend forms the beating heart of our energy platforms, such as SmartgridOne and SmartgridX. That is why we are looking for a driven Backend Developer who wants to help build high-performance, reliable and scalable applications in the fast-growing energy market.
As a Backend Developer, you will contribute to the further expansion of our IoT-driven energy platform. You will develop APIs, data processing pipelines and integrations with energy devices from over 250 brands.
Responsibilities:
- Developing scalable and secure backend solutions in collaboration with our dev team
- Helping to build APIs, databases and real-time data processing
- Integrating new energy brands and communication standards (Modbus, MQTT, REST, etc.)
- Optimising existing systems with a focus on performance, scalability and security
- Collaborating with front-end developers, data engineers and product owners
Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics-ICT or equivalent through experience
- Thorough knowledge of at least one backend language: Python
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON and databases
- An affinity with IoT technologies or an interest in the energy sector is an asset
- Familiar with Git, CI/CD and Linux environments
- Eager to learn, analytical and self-reliant
