Job Description:
Eniris is looking for a Smart Grid Control Systems Engineer to join our core development team. You will help shape the evolution of our flagship energy management system, SmartgridOne EMS, contributing directly to a smarter, greener, and more responsive power grid.
Working at the intersection of electrical engineering and data science, you will develop and improve the control logic that makes our EMS “smart.” Your work will have a real-time impact on energy efficiency and cost savings, and you will act as a technical reference for both internal teams and clients when dealing with complex grid scenarios.
Responsibilities:
- Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and refine advanced control algorithms to manage power flow, stability,
and demand response within the EMS. - Predictive Modeling: Develop and maintain models to accurately forecast power import and export, accounting for variables like weather,
usage patterns, and market pricing. - Cost Optimization: Architect and tune optimization algorithms to minimize operational costs and maximize the ROI of energy assets for our clients.
- System Enhancement: Identify and execute general improvements to the SmartgridOne architecture to increase reliability,
scalability, and performance. - Technical Advisory: Act as the subject matter expert for the support team and provide high-level technical clarity to clients
regarding system behavior and energy strategy.
Profile:
- A degree in electrical, electromechanical or control systems engineering, or a related field with a strong grasp of electrical power systems.
- Experience in control systems engineering (e.g., feedback loops, PID, MPC, or state-space representation).
- Data Science Skills: Working knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, particularly as they apply to time-series forecasting and pattern recognition.
- Programming Proficiency: Strong Python skills are essential, including experience with libraries such as NumPy, Scikit-learn, ... for optimization.
- Problem Solver: An analytical mindset capable of troubleshooting complex interactions between software logic and physical electrical hardware.
What we offer:
- A challenging and diverse role within an innovative and growing company.
- A competitive salary with additional benefits.
- Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
- A dynamic work environment with an enthusiastic team.
